The book

This unique look at the life and times of Barack Obama uses food as a starting point. Like the man himself, this book is solidly American yet global in outlook. Essays, original photography, recipes, timelines and graphic novel elements make this instant classic a must for the home, the kitchen and the classroom. The foods and cultures of Hawaii, Kenya, Indonesia, the United States and even the city of Obama Japan act as milestones in the life journey of one of the most dynamic figures of our times.
